Reconfiguring the distribution of this 176m2 2 bed / 2 bath townhouse we extended the living quarters onto the 1st floor courtyard to enhance natural light and heat insulation. With an artist’s workshop spread across the street level we grafted a contemporary material pallet within the ancient stone building to render the multi-level layout more playful and ergonomic.
